DMCA Notice for Church of Sermons
Church of Sermons follows all copyright laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and respects the intellectual property rights of others. This disclaimer tells you how we handle sharing content, respecting copyright, and how visitors can interact with the videos and articles on our site.
Videos, Thumbnails, and Content
The Church of Sermons website only shows videos and thumbnails that are shared, embedded, or streamed directly from official YouTube channels on the YouTube platform. We don’t host, upload, or store any video or image files that are not part of a larger file on our servers. Instead, we use YouTube’s official embed features to let our visitors watch and listen to sermons and other related videos in a way that follows YouTube’s Terms of Service and API policies.
When you watch a video on our site, you are really streaming it straight from YouTube’s servers. This way, the original rights holders, who uploaded and published the content on YouTube, will always be in charge of it.
No direct hosting or uploading
The Church of Sermons does not upload, store, or host any videos, pictures, or other media files on its own. We use the official YouTube embed code to put all video content on our site. This includes, but is not limited to, sermons, teachings, and conference sessions. YouTube’s embed service makes and gives out all of the thumbnails that go with videos. When you watch a video or see a thumbnail on our site, it comes straight from YouTube in real time through their platform.
Respecting the People Who Own Copyright
The people who made the videos, audio, and other visual content still own them and have the copyright. We don’t say we own or have any rights to the YouTube videos, thumbnails, or media content that are embedded on our site. We can only use this kind of content for embedding, which is allowed by YouTube’s terms and features. If you own the copyright to something that is on YouTube, you have full control over it. You can turn off embedding or take your content down from YouTube at any time.
Commentary, Articles, and Fair Use
All of the written material on Church of Sermons, such as articles, commentary, reflections, and editorial opinions, is original work by our team or contributors. These writings give spiritual commentary, analysis, criticism, and support for the sermons and videos that were shared on YouTube. The goal of this kind of commentary is to give people more spiritual insight, get people talking, and help them connect more deeply with the video content.
Our articles, reviews, and comments are all based on our own beliefs and opinions. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution protects these things. It guarantees the rights to free speech, free press, and free religion. This protection makes sure that our site can offer interpretive, faith-based, or critical points of view that are in line with U.S. law and the right to free speech.
Statement of Fair Use
Under Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act, some of the content on this website may be used in a way that is fair. Fair use lets you use copyrighted material for things like criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research, even if those uses would normally be illegal. We want to add value through commentary, education, and religious instruction, and we don’t want to violate the rights of any copyright owner.

YouTube and the original content owners are the only ones who can change a video’s availability, embedding status, or licensing.
